Student Perspective on Thanksgiving: Gratitude and Hope

Gratitude and Hope

Do you feel grateful?

I do. Constantly.

I have a family

and friends and

everything I need.

Right?

I live in a world

where I am too much.

It is never easy

or natural or well,

good enough.

I always need.

I am grateful for

the support I have,

but I am hopeful for

when I don't need it.

Many of our students navigate this duality and so do their families. How do you handle these emotions?
